I used to consider it essential, but today people consume tons of Instagram Stories and TikToks without a moments pause for the motion blur cadence. RSMB is a pretty heavy effect, and the difference is nuanced. If it's fast action the faster the shutter the cleaner the key and the more need for motion blur restoration. If I speed up the footage to real-time in Premiere, when I take it to After effects to composite, did I lose those frames? What's the workflow? If you shutter up a lot and want to get some motion blur back RSMB is an option. I recorded my green screen at 60fps (project at 23.976) to prevent tearing between frames.I don’t have any experience in doing this but that’s where I’d start. It may still look too smooth, so perhaps employ a motion-blur effect in post like Re:Vision Reel Smart Motion Blur. RSMB is RE:VIsion Instant 4K is discontinued. These observations concern mainly workflows for SDR - HDR remastering. The motion blur isnt the best though in my opinion and will probably need to be tuned shot. Or apply it to one clip, select the node, then select all the shots and append the node to all.
